Winemaking notes

Made in 1991 at Jura distillery, this single malt has been matured in a single refill American oak hogshead, before being bottled in 2019 for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series.

Tasting notes

Aromas of ripened autumnal apples with notes of honey followed by freshcut grass and salted lemon. Underlying hints of toffee combine with mouth-warming cracked black pepper and ripe peach flavours. Nutmeg spices complement crushed coffee bean and charred oak.
