Winemaking notes
Made at Linkwood distillery, this Speyside single malt has been matured for 15 years, before being bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Distillery Labels series. Our Distillery Labels range is testament to the long-standing and unique relationships built over generations with Scotland’s distillery owners. For more than 120 years, we have been entrusted with new-make spirit from many of Scotland’s distilleries to mature in our casks, our way.
Tasting notes
The nose is quite full with balanced oaked tannins, a touch of Fraise des Bois liqueur and notes of musty port. The palate is full and firm with notes of arak, dark toffee, vanilla spice and buttery oak. The finish is quite long and oaked with a touch of spice.
